| Resumen | En el año 2008 el Ayuntamiento de Rivas-Vaciamadrid (Madrid) puso en marcha el Parque Agroecológico Soto del Grillo, proyecto pionero en la región, conformado por 32 Ha de regadío, mayoritariamente destinadas a producción hortícola, y 13 Ha de secano. Su creación tuvo como objeto recuperar una zona históricamente agraria a través de la implantación de iniciativas productivas que permitieran generar empleo y tejido social a través de la agricultura ecológica. Tras 8 años de experiencia, se han puesto de manifiesto determinados límites del proyecto inicial, lo que ha llevado una revisión del mismo. Para ello se ha realizado un Diagnóstico de la situación de las iniciativas instaladas en el Parque, a través de un método mixto de técnicas de investigación social cuantitativas y cualitativas, cuyo objetivo ha sido evaluar de manera integral las causas que favorecen o limitan la actividad productiva desde las perspectivas social, comercial, agronómica y económica. |
| Summary | In 2008, the Rivas-Vaciamadrid (Madrid) City Council put The Soto del Grillo Agro-ecological Park, a pioneering project in the region, is underway, consisting of 32 Ha of irrigated land, mostly for production horticulture, and 13 hectares of dry land. Its creation was aimed at recovering an area historically agrarian through the implementation of productive initiatives that would make it possible to generate employment and the social fabric through organic farming. After 8 years of experience, certain limits of the initial project, which has led to a revision of the project.
